Direction (Q. 1 - 10) : In each of the questions given below which one of the following five answer figures on the right should come after the problem figures on the left, if the sequence were continued ?
In each subsequent figure the J-shaped design rotates through 45° clockwise while the other design moves respectively one-half, one, one and a half, two, two and a half__________ step(s) in anticlockwise direction and it is replaced with a new design in each subsequent figure.
In each subsequent figure the circle and the square move onehalf step in clockwise direction and shaded part moves to the opposite side. The triangle and the B-shaped design also move one-half step in clockwise direction after being rotated through 45° clockwise and anticlockwise respectively.
The Problem is based on rule (1) = (3) = (5) and hence (2) = (4) = (6). From Problem Figure (1) to (3) and from Problem Figure (3) to (5) the design rotates through 135° clockwise.
Similarly, from problem figure (2) to (4) and from Problem Figure (4) to Answer Figure the design would rotate through 135° clockwise.
From Problem Figure (1) to (2) the left most designs of both rows move to the rightmost position and one line segment is deleted. From Problem Figure (2) to (3) both rows interchange positions and one line segment is added. These two steps are continued in alternate manner in the subsequent figures.
In each subsequent figure the upper design rotates through 45° anticlockwise and from Problem Figure (1) to (2) the circle moves to the right side and one more circle is added while the arrow rotates through 90°anticlockwise. From Problem Figure (2) to (3) one circle is deleted and the remaining circle moves to the left side while the arrow rotates through 180°. These two steps are continued in the subsequent figures alternately.
