Direction (Q. 1 - 10) : Read the following information carefully and answer the questions that follow.
The following are the five subjects fojr the annual examination. Maximum marks for each of the five subjects, ie English, Chemistry, Botany, Mathematics, and Physics, is 100. A student is declared passed under the following different schemes (a candidate may pass under more than one scheme):
Scheme 1: Secures minimum 40% marks in each subject.
Scheme 2: Secures minimum 50% marks of total but fails only either in English or in Botany.
Scheme 3: Secures minimum 75% marks in Chemistry and minimum 60% in Mathematics but fails in any one of the remaining subjects.
Scheme 4: Secures minimum 60% marks of total but fails in up to two subjects by maximum of only 10 marks in each of the subjects.
Those candidates who could not pass under any of these four schemes are declared as 'failed'. The marks of ten different students are given below in the table. Study it to answer the questions that follow:
